Lead contract research division which provides biotransformation,in vitro drug metabolism, in vitro biology and in vitro toxicology supports to CROs, pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical companies and academic institutions.

She has vast experiences (~10 years) in drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, metabolite identification of new chemical entities, high resolution mass spectrometry, in vitro metabolism, enzyme kinetics and reversible/irreversible inhibition assays. She is highly experienced in leading DMPK drug discovery projects starting from synthesis to regulatory submission, experienced in leading drug discoveryteams in lead optimization, experienced in providing biotransformation and DMPK support to multiple programs across therapeutic areas in addition to leading multiple drug discovery projects.

Before joining DiponED she worked for Biocon Bristol-Myers Squibb Research Centre from 2008 to 2016 in DMPK department where she worked as Principal Research Investigator and lead several drug discovery projects, lead team in biotransformation and drug metabolism to support in-house and global drug discovery projects. Additionally lead DMPK teams to support in-house and global drug discovery programs in multiple therapeutic areas. In addition to that pursuing innovative research projects which lead to poster or peer reviewed publications. Work as a team leader or member.

Mr. Pucha Sravan Kumar is an established scientist with extensiveexperience in Pre-clinicaldrug discovery Research. Having compiledmore than 18years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (working in both in-house and CRO Drug Discovery setup), he wasinstrumental in setting up and validating biological assays and thediscovery of a potent and selective DPP IV inhibitor (RBx0128) for Type II Diabetes.

He is specialized in various fields related toBiochemistry, Cell biology, Enzymology, Receptor Biology,Pharmacology, Bioinformatics, Enzyme kinetics andreversible/irreversibleinhibition assays. He was awarded with an outstanding award at GVK for his independent work on Ryanodine receptor and a Silver award by Glaxo SmithKline (GSK) for his work on receptor binding assays (Cancer Program). He is highly experienced in leading drug discovery projects starting from lead optimization to IND filing. Prior to joining DiponEDBio Private Limited,Pucha Sravan Kumar has careers with Jupiter Biosciences, Ranbaxy (NDDR), Lupin (NDDD) and GVK Biosciences (NDDS). He holdsa Master degree in Biochemistry from Madras University(2000) and an Advanced PG Diploma in Bioinformatics from Osmania University (2002).



Senior Research Scientist at Diponed Biointelligence

Dr Santhosh Gopal, M.Sc., PhD, Senior Research Scientist at Diponed Biointelligence, Bangalore.

He did Masters in Genomics at Madurai Kamaraj University. Before his PhD, he worked at Christian Medical College, Vellore as Associate Research Officer. He worked on genetic studies in hemophilia and thalassemia patients. Later he worked at IISC bangalore as Junior Research Fellow. At IISC, he studied the gene expression profiling in Glioma patients. He did PhD in endocrinology at University of Pisa, Italy. He worked on signaling pathway in breast cancer and coagulation and post menopause. He did Post Doc at University of Turin, Italy. At Diponed, he is working as Senior Scientist, focusing on various projects like CTC diagnosis using real time PCR, Next Generation Sequencing of 16srRNA and other contract research services. He supervises PRP production.


Dr. Rani James

She has done her Masters in Biotechnology from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Cochin. After post graduation she worked as an ICMR Junior research fellow studying biomarker expressions in cancer cells. Later She did PhD in Biochemistry at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology,Bangalore. She studied about the association of genetic variation in vascular endothelial growth factor gene and breast cancer progression.She has published 13 papers in national and international journals. She is working as Senior Scientist at DiponEdBiointelligence. At Diponedshe work in multidisciplinary team ,handling various CRO projects and clinical trials in almost every major indications including cancer, auto immune diseases ,diabetes ,dermatological diseases ,orthopedic disorders etc.She writes research proposals for funding and publish papers of various clinical trials. She is the coordinator for DIRM course in Regenerative Medicine.


Namitha Haridas

Scientific Manager – Biologics

Executing the responsibility of handling stem cell division, she manages the collaborative projects with other organizations within DiponEd.

Being a post grad in Regenerative Medicine from Manipal University, she has an experience of 5 years in stem cell research and development. Before joining DiponEd, she worked with Manipal organization in Cancer research group, Bangalore and National Institute of Nutrition, in stem cell department Hyderabad. Apart from stem cell research, she has technical experience in cell culture, Animal tissue processing, setting molecular experiments and data analysis. Here in DiponEd, being a part of contract research services division, she also maintains the platform for stem cell banking. She has secured DAAD fellowship thrice during the research career for Indo-German exchange programs in few universities like Julius Maximilian and Jena. Added to the challenging research projects also lead to Journal paper publications.
